Nicola is a natural winemaker living in a remote village near Crotone, where his atavistic pursuit of wine is under active siege from climate related wildfires and the prolonged dry seasons. 

For Nicola, and other winemakers like him, this environmental change has existential consequences that permeate his daily routine. “Wildfire” patiently observes Nicola in this affective state of anxiety as he’s forced to alter the course of his harvest in real time.
